Many distributors use an inferior 1 1/4″ (approx. 32mm) shaft for their bars. This enables them to use cheaper steel and still have an appropriate tensile strength. We use the higher quality American made 1 1/8″ (approx. 28.5mm) diameter steel. A thicker bar is a big deterrent to your grip, and also has a tendency to jam your wrist on overhead lifts.
We also finish our entire bar with a bright Zinc plated finish to deter rust. Be very wary of buying a bar with any Chrome finish. Chrome becomes very slick in humid areas and also slicker if any perspiration gets on the Chrome finish. Many Chrome finished bars have a tendency to flake and peel off over time, leaving razor-like edges.
We also guarantee the sleeves will stay in tact through your heaviest abuse. If not, send it back and we will replace it. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Proudly made in the USA. Quest Training Bar has the same shaft as the Q-bar. However, Q-bar’s sleeves have a bit better spinning and it has a better finish (look).
