It’s two days later and my legs are still quivering.
My squats felt good with my last set of 350# going for 13 solid reps. Gary was also on point with his sets. 365# with 240# of chains added for sets of 3 reps.
The finisher for the day was the Yoke walks. Mike Landrich had built me the Yoke and I picked it up at the Highlander competition last weekend. My plan is to utilize the yoke walks to build up my resilience under load. My squatting strength will increase as my spinal erectors and hips acclimate to the heavier loads. I’m also using heavier lunges to build my legs individually.


Time to rest a bit before this weekends Atomic Athletic Olde Time Strongman Picnic and then my trip to Russia to train with National team members.
